But safety is first!

However, you should always remember about safety when it comes to working and simply being in the kitchen. There are many pieces of equipment and environmental hazards that can be extremely dangerous to you and your family members.

A study found that more than 40% of home fires start in the kitchen. Thousands of people also get sent to the emergency department annually due to knife cuts. 48 million cases of food-borne illness in the United States were also found by Centers for Disease control and Preparation because of improper food preparation, cooking, and storage.

Safety hazards such as sharp objects like knives, open fire by the oven, electrical appliances, and even bacteria around the kitchen has caused more unnecessary health risks than it should be.

All things considered, prioritizing safety in the kitchen is essential. When you’re experimenting in the kitchen, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

It’s why you as well as the other kitchen owners should develop a habit of observing the basic rules of the kitchen.

One mishap can cause serious injuries or accidents, so always pay attention to your actions in the kitchen. A few preventable disasters shouldn’t be allowed to become catastrophic accidents because of the lack of safety precautions. Kitchen organization is also very important as it greatly helps implementing safety measures.

With that being said, this infographic by Mr. Cabinet Care gives a few safety tips to keep in mind to prevent serious injuries or accidents.

  1. RE: LED Landscaping Lights #0357273,

    Hi Customer Service,

I purchased these lights from Lowes many months ago and only now getting to install them. Three of the four lights work perfectly, but the forth light will not light. I repositioned the light connection in two other spots on the low voltage wire but the fixture will not light. Lowes no longer has a record of my purchase since they only go back 6-months. Can you please send me a replacement. I’ll be glad to return the non-working fixture.

    Thanks,
    Walter Adamchuk
